3/8/19

Today in class, we discussed more on the powerpoint we started yesterday on Ancient Greece. At first, we did a quick recap of what we did yesterday. Then, we talked about the size of Greece and how it could barely overlap three U.S. states but had a huge influence on everyone. We also talked about the dark ages and what happened to cause the dark ages. We also talked about a famous storyteller named Homer. He was a blind man who lived at the end of the dark ages. He lived from 750 - 700 BCE. He composed two of the most famous stories or epics of all time. The Iliad and The Oddesey. These two books/epics weren't written down by him but they were told by him and written down by someone else. I have read those two books and they were very intriguing. After that, we got sidetracked and talked about Mr. Schick's bathroom story and how he flooded the bathroom and climbed out the window to get out of trouble... or at least try to.
